ELECTRICAL PERMIT FEES

Electrical Permit fees are reviewed each year as part of the budget process and are adopted by County Council Resolution.

Exemptions From Permit Fees

Work on buildings and structures owned by the Howard County Government, the Howard County Board of Education and the Howard County Community College requires permits but is exempt from payment of permit fees.

Technology Fee

A 10% technology fee will be collected on all permits and electrician license fees.
