Route 1 | Dace Blaumanis | 410-313-4324 Manual: Articulates design requirements and recommendations for properties in the Route 1 corridor. The Manual explains procedures for determining compliance with the zoning regulations, especially for new districts in the corridor.
SHA Corridor Improvement Strategy | Harriet Levine | 410-837-5840 The study recommends a set of transportation improvements that will accommodate new development and redevelopment in the corridor and improve the appearance and functioning of the US 1 road network. Needs and priorities will be identified for improvements to be made by developers, the County and the State.

Enhancement Study The 2004 Enhancement Study Final Report addresses the economic development and community enhancement potential of the Route 40 Corridor. The Study provides recommendations for short term and long term priorities for the corridor.
Market Analysis The Market Analysis reviews economic and demographic trends and existing conditions for housing and commercial development. Estimates about the potential future demand for the corridor are based on these existing conditions, information from comparable markets and the future scenarios growth projections.
Characterization Study The Route 40 Characterization Study is a look at the broader geography of the corridor that is defined by US Census Tracts and County Statistical Areas. These areas extend beyond the limits of the corridor both due to the ease of analysis and because this expanded information plays an important role in determining the uses of the corridor.
