Downtown Columbia: A Community Vision County Executive Ken Ulman and the Department of Planning and Zoning are pleased to announce the December 2007 publication of Downtown Columbia: A Community Vision. This document describes a vision for Downtown Columbia, highlighting the themes that have emerged through public dialogue over the past two years. It also establishes a framework for the preparation of a downtown development master plan by General Growth Properties, Inc., the major Downtown property owner. To assist in the Downtown planning process, the County also commissioned a Traffic Study by Sabra Wang and Associates, Inc. Information about the fall 2007 public meetings is provided below.
