Howard County’s 5th Annual GreenFest Hopes to Save the Environment One Yard at a Time


ELLICOTT CITY, MD – Howard County Government will host its 5th annual GreenFest this Saturday, April14 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Howard Community College, Burrill Galleria, 10901 Little Patuxent Parkway in Columbia. This FREE event offers something for all ages and features over 100 vendors, demonstrations, workshops, outdoor activities, a mini farmers market, a shredding event and practical tips for easy ways to “green” your home, workplace and lifestyle. This year’s theme is “Saving the Environment One Yard at a Time” and focuses on the importance of taking steps at your own home to make a big impact.
