To obtain a birth certificate:
- Please visit the following location:

- Birth Certificates may be obtained for a $20.00 fee.
- You must present a current photo identification card (must be a picture ID).
- Cash, check or money order made payable to: Director of Finance.
- Applicants must have been born in Maryland after 1941.*
- Only parents or legal guardians (must provide proof of guardianship) may obtain a child's birth certificate.
- Applicants must be the person named or the parent to obtain an adult's birth certificate.

To obtain a death certificate:
- Death Certificates may be obtained by Funeral Directors only.
- There is a charge of $20.00 per death certificate.
