GreenFest 2008 - A Huge Success!

The theme of GreenFest 2008 was "Green Buildings – Inside and Out". Approximately 1,500 citizens joined us for this free family event celebrating Earth Month on Saturday, April 5, 2008 at Glenwood Community Center. With over 65 vendors, displays provided citizens with practical information about green buildings – both home and office – and ways to live a more ecologically sound lifestyle in Howard County. Vendor themes included: Green Buildings, Green Consumer Products, Getting Involved in Green, Leaving a Green Footprint, Wildlife Exploration, and Local Green Clubs and Organizations.
