Police Officer of the Month

Officer Bryce Buell was selected as Police Officer of the Month for January 2003. Officer Buell consistently demonstrates a high degree of initiative and productivity.

He is a very proactive officer who produces a high level of self initiated work, as is evident from his extremely high number of insight reports. Many of these included finding open doors while conducting foot patrols and insight traffic arrests while running registration checks and detecting suspended drivers.

This productivity is noteworthy, especially given the frigid temperatures and poor weather conditions during the month. Neither deterred his enthusiasm or self initiated productivity.

During the month of January , Officer Buell completed 41 insight reports and 11 Field Interrogation Reports. He made 16 total arrests, two DWI arrests and issued 86 traffic citations. Also in January, Officer Buell conducted 66 foot patrols.

Officer Buell’s high productivity, especially in self-initiated work, is commendable. His monthly statistics are significant and represent his continuous efforts each month. He was also recognized as Police Officer of the Month in November 2002.

Officer Buell’s enthusiasm and dedication to duty is evident in his daily work and appreciated by the police department.
