Citizens' Advisory Council

The Citizens' Advisory Council consists of active community leaders who volunteer their time and energy to address law enforcement services in Howard County. Meetings are held with the Chief of Police on a monthly basis and provide a forum for the following:

• Obtain citizen input regarding police services.
• Formalize a process to facilitate a spirit of cooperation between police and community.
• Assist in the development and perpetuation of crime prevention programs.
• Aid in the identification of long range Departmental goals.
