LOCAL CHILDREN’S BOARD

Function:

The board shall oversee the implementation of a local, interagency service delivery system for children, youth and families in Howard County and shall act as the planning and coordinating mechanism for children’s services.

Number of Members:

19 to 29
Representation shall be 51% public sector and 49% private sector.

Appointed by:

County Executive appoints. County Council confirms.
