BOARD OF ELECTRICAL EXAMINERS

Function:

To make recommendations to the Director of Inspections, Licenses & Permits, the County Executive and the County Council on all matters relating to electrical work in Howard County, including the conduct of electrical business and licenses.

Number of Members:

7
Must be Howard County residents; two licenses under electrical regulations or representatives of an electrical inspection bureau, one electrical engineer, and four general public members.

Appointed by:

County Executive appoints. County Council confirms.

Meetings:

The Board meets on an as needed basis. Meetings when held are at 6:30 PM in the Licenses and Permits Conference Room, 1st Floor, George Howard Building, 3430 Courthouse Drive, Ellicott City, Maryland 21043.
