Function:

Responsible for general health and sanitary interests of the people of Howard County.

Number of Members:

9
All must be Howard County residents; one environmental health professional; three health professionals; five general members, two of whom shall not have professional or administrative training in a health occupation, and two who may have professional or administrative training in a health occupation but have not worked for such for five years prior to appointment.
