HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION

Function:

To recommend civil rights policy, promote human rights in Howard County, hold hearings on patterns of discrimination and serve as an administrative hearing body.

Number of Members:

11 voting members (with one non-voting student member)
All must be Howard County residents.

Appointed by:

County Executive appoints. County Council confirms.

Meetings:

Third Thursday of the month at 7:00 pm in the Tyson Room, George Howard Building, 3430 Court House Drive, Ellicott City, MD 21043.
