Robinson Nature Center Anniversary Open House
Celebrate Robinson Nature Center’s second birthday through this special open house event!
Come out and experience complimentary admission, live animal presentations, nature crafts and movies in our planetarium. Walk the trails with our naturalists, explore the exhibits, take a LEED tour of the building's sustainability features and play in the Discovery Room.
Come see our new additions since our last open house including a demonstration beehive, aquatic animal "touch tank", temporary ManneqART display and ViewSpace with self-updating astronomy news.
This year, we'll unveil the first art tiles created by children during the "Leave Your Mark Art Tile Project" and announce the winner of our stream-naming contest.
Buy a raffle ticket for a basket full of products from our Nature Gift shop. Purchase your 2014 family pass and get access to Robinson for the last months of 2013 and all of 2014. Or, participate in the Leave Your Mark Art Tile Project during which your child can create unique artwork that will be turned into an art tile and permanently installed in the Nature Center. Proceeds from the art tile project, run by the Friends of the Robinson Nature Center, support scholarships for Title 1 school field trips.
Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. No registration is necessary for the event, though you can pre-register for one of two Leave Your Mark Art Tile project sessions by clicking here to secure your child's spot.
