Come Home to Howard County Housing Fair

Thank you to everyone that participated in our April 2008 fair, it was our most successful event to date! Howard County Executive Ken Ulman and Howard County Housing are pleased to announce that our 3rd annual event attracted over 700 participants.

• Learning from the best in the business by sitting in on any one of our non-stop education sessions; learning everything from what a first-time homebuyer needs to home energy conservation
• Previewing the latest new home construction developments on our narrated community bus tours
• Winning in our day-long prize giveaways; from a dinner and show to a home inspection!
• And a lucky few even won the chance to rent or buy a home from Howard County Housing at a reduced rate (income restrictions apply).

This free event celebrates the many benefits of living in Howard County by giving participants the opportunity to learn everything about renting, buying or fixing up a home in Howard County.

At each fair we feature housing lottery drawings, where eligible participants have the opportunity to purchase homes valued as high as $450,000 for less than $200,000. Eight new home owners have already been created through these ground-breaking events, and you could be our next lucky homeowner at our next lottery drawing!
