H1N1 Clinics and Events

This page was last updated 11/20/2009 at 4:00 pm.

The Health Department has received its initial doses of the H1N1 Vaccine. We are in the process of setting up clinics to administer the vaccine to priority groups including:

    • Pregnant women
    • People who live with or care for children younger than 6 months of age
    • Young people between the ages of six months and 24 years old
    • People ages of 25 through 64 years of age who are at higher risk because of chronic health problems or weakened immune systems
    • Healthcare and emergency medical services personnel

There will be over 100 clinics scheduled. Check back for clinic schedules or contact our Flu Hotline at 410-313-6503.

The Bureau of Communicable Disease is tracking surveillance of the H1N1 through the county daily.

Please be advised:

This page will be updated every afternoon at 4:00 pm, but other times as well. Please check back often for up-to-date information.

Clinic scheduling is dependent upon the vaccine that we receive.

Upcoming Clinics

To schedule an apppointment you will be asked: name, date of birth and sex.

If you are scheduled for a clinic you are guaranteed vaccine. Due to space limitations, please do NOT arrive more than 10 minutes before your appointment.

Starting November 3rd, the health department will be using a new call center (410-313-6250) devoted to taking appointments. This means a high volume of calls can be handled efficiently.

We have received both H1N1 mist and H1N1 injectable. Most of our clinics will only offer 1 type of vaccine. Read the following information sheets to find out which might be appropriate for you.
