Howard County Executive Calvin Ball, fellow elected officials and command members from the County Police and Fire Departments and Howard County Sheriff’s Office, will honor and pay tribute to all who lost their lives during the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, including the four victims from Howard County, with a remembrance wreath laying and flag raising ceremony on Thursday, September 11th. The ceremony will begin promptly at 8:46 a.m., marking the time the first plane hit the North Tower of the World Trade Center, and will take place outside in the courtyard of the County's George Howard Building in Ellicott City.
