The Howard County Department of Recreation and Parks will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. in the cafeteria at Burleigh Manor Middle School (4200 Centennial Lane, Ellicott City, MD 21042) to discuss the final phase of stabilization work along Font Hill Park’s wetlands, path, bridge, and stream.
This stabilization project’s goal is to reduce erosion and sediment while stabilizing stream banks to protect the pathway and bridge abutments.
There will be a short presentation about the project design and the next steps. After the presentation, members of the public are welcome to share their thoughts and ask questions.
Attendees will be allowed to speak for up to three minutes per person. You can sign up in person to speak at the meeting, beginning at 5:30pm on September 16, 2025, or online starting September 2 by visiting https://apps.howardcountymd.gov/E_RAPTestimony/.
