Adult Coordination Services

Adult Coordination Services helps link Howard County residents (26+ years old)  to the resources and programs which help minimize the challenges that can happen during an emotional health and wellness challenge.

Programs and services include, but are not limited to: Mental Health Consumer Support Funding, connection to Adult Mental Health Resources and oversight of community mental health programs, including Supported Employment and Residential Crisis Beds. Program Coordinator: Kimberly Fuller - kifuller@howardcountymd.gov or 410-313-7375.

The State Care Coordination (SCC) Program assists residents transitioning back to Howard County from substance use disorder inpatient detoxification centers, Intensive Outpatient Treatment (IOP), as well as detention centers. Must be enrolled in good standing, attending and participating in substance use treatment to be eligible for funding support services (MDRN).

Program Summary: Conducts substance use disorder screenings for individuals who have applied for Temporary Cash Assistance through the Howard County Department of Social Services. Based on these screenings, an individual can be referred for assessments by community providers. The TCA Screener will conduct follow-up to determine if the individual attended the appointment and will continue to follow-up with the provider for progress reports. Program Coordinator: Charniece Wilkes - cwilkes@howardcountymd.gov or 410-872-8753.
