The Spending Affordability Advisory Committee (SAAC) is Established through Executive Order each year as a non-partisan resident advisory body to offer data-informed advice to the County Executive on budget and debt affordability. The committee is tasked with examining fiscal data, reviewing multi-year revenues and expenditures, and making advisory recommendations before March 1 of every year. The SAAC members consist of residents and representatives of major organizations along with County staff to serve as advisors to the Committee.
