PUBLIC MEETING NOTICE:
Blandair Regional Park -
Public Input Meeting
The Department of Recreation and Parks will hold a public input meeting for interested parties regarding the proposed Blandair Regional Park in Columbia.
The public meeting will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 11, 2008, at the Oakland Mills High School Auditorium, 9410 Kilimanjaro Road, Columbia, MD 21045. The purpose of the public meeting will be to receive input from the public on the proposed master plan. The consultant will be making a presentation of the proposed Master Plan.
Our diverse offerings of services, programs and facilities are the result of citizen and community input combined with the delivery of leisure services by a team of professional staff.
Our mission is to promote opportunities for all residents to pursue safe and enjoyable leisure activities in balance with the protection and conservation of natural resources. We utilize a very strong teamwork concept to involve the community in concert with our staff to identify and meet the needs of our citizens.

Parks Survey
Fall online registration will begin on August 6 at 6:00 p.m. All other forms of registration begin on August 7 at 8:00 a.m. for Howard County residents. Non-county residents can register beginning August 14. An approved online account is required before registration can be processed.
